The new Swansea University Bay campus gave 1 Vision Solar a great opputunity to install and commission a Solar Photovoltaic System to the roof of Building 12 at Swansea University Bay Campus. The total system has a maximum power of 6.250 KWP watts and covers an active module surface.

The estimated annual generation is 5894 kWh per year. The system is made up of 25 no. 250W panels over 2 strings – 1 x 16 panels and 1 x 9 panels. Each panel is fitted with a dedicated optimizer, which in turn is connected back to a single AC/DC inverter located within the plant room.  1 Vision Solar used the Van de Valk - Valk Pro plus mounting system for this job.  It mounts the panels on a 10 degree angle along the mounting rail and means that there are no roof penetrations to hold this sytem in place.
