1 vision installed a 6KWP SolarEdge system on the roof of Gabalfa school in Cardiff using a standing seam mounting system. Our dedicated MCS credited solar installers worked to install the 24 panel 6.0KW SolarEdge system in a respectable timeframe of 5 days.

SolarEdge uses optimisers to, as it states, optimise the system by maximimizing the panel it is connected to i.e if there is any shading on the panel it will optimize that panel so there is no random loss within the generation of the system. This particular system is using P300 optimisers which is one optimiser per panel. Some solar systems can use P600 optimisers which can manage upto 2 panels per optimiser due to the wattage.

P300 Optimiser = 300WATT

P600 Optimiser = 600WATT

For this solar system there are 24 panels meaning 24 optimisers over 2 strings of 12. The panels are layed out in rows of two, also known as strings because they are cabled in a 'string' like fashion.

1 Vision Solar are pleased to have worked with Evans Electrical to maximize the efficeiency of the building.
